Google has improved Gmail summary cards and they will now be displayed in a short format about a message received in the inbox. For the time being, they will only directly refer to emails related to invoices, ticket bookings, travel confirmations and restaurant reservations. What do the new Gmail summary cards look like?
Gmail summary cards have evolved and now They will be displayed on an email related to invoices, tickets, travel tickets or restaurant reservations, in a short format. This new feature provides a solution for users to access this important information and receive immediate attention.
Now no one will have to excuse themselves for not paying the bill because they forgot or for missing a flight due to date changes. Summary cards will have better visual organization, as well as a new way of managing the inbox. Among the benefits of this update are:
- Take action more easily on high-value messages avoiding late payments and staying informed about updates to your reservations.
- You can quickly find emails related to invoices, reservations, tickets and receipts without having to tag them.
- Email status updated instantly since they are dynamic cards that will keep you informed of any changes that occur.
- Get ahead of future events as summary cards will be in a new section called “Coming soon«.
- Summary cards will also be located in the Gmail search bar and in individual messages.
The official categories that will be tagged with these summary cards in Gmail are: Shopping, events, bills and travel. Initially, only the shopping and events ones will be launched in the next Gmail update in the Mobile Version for iOS and Android.
