The Samsung Galaxy S27 family continues to generate buzz ahead of its official unveiling. Leaks are piling up, and we already have a pretty clear picture of what could be the South Korean company's next flagship, as well as a new model poised to take center stage in the high-end market.
Renders based on CAD files published by reliable sources like OnLeaks, along with information from outlets such as Android Headlines, suggest a significant redesign for both the Galaxy S27 Ultra and the Galaxy S27 Pro, a device returning to the family after the S26 Pro was canceled. While nothing is official, the consensus among various sources indicates that these will be the most significant changes.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra will completely change its design.
The first major change will be on the back. The Ultra will abandon the separate camera design , integrating them into a rectangular platform that spans the top of the phone. This solution is reminiscent of the one used by Apple in the iPhone 17 Pro, although with its own unique approach. According to the renders, the main sensor and the ultra-wide lens will be stacked on one side, while the telephoto lens and flash will be housed in a pill-shaped cutout.
Furthermore, the 3x telephoto lens will be eliminated , and the system will consist of a 50-megapixel main sensor (possibly ISOCELL HIP6), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel 5x telephoto lens. This reduction in components aims to simplify the overall design and compensate for the increased size of the camera module. However, the absence of the 3x lens raises questions about how Samsung will handle intermediate focal lengths.
The S Pen will remain on the Ultra. The slot is visible on the bottom left edge in the leaks, confirming that Samsung is keeping the stylus as a defining feature of its flagship range. The rest of the chassis will remain largely unchanged: dimensions of 163,76 x 78,25 x 7,97 millimeters, with a thickness of 12,53 millimeters at the camera area.

As for the screen, a 6,9-inch display with a hole-punch cutout for the front camera is expected. The battery capacity would increase to 5.700 mAh thanks to silicon-carbon technology, without significantly increasing the device's size. The processor is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 Extreme, although the Exynos 2700, which leaks suggest is performing well in internal tests, may be used in some markets. It has also been mentioned that there will be no LPDDR6 memory or UFS 5.0 storage, although this has not been confirmed by all sources.
The Galaxy S27 Pro will arrive as a compact version without the S Pen.
One of the most interesting rumors is the arrival of a Galaxy S27 Pro, a model positioned between the S27 Plus and the S27 Ultra. This device would share the Ultra's design language , including the camera platform, but would completely forgo the S Pen. Its dimensions would be more compact: 154,06 x 73,77 x 7,95 millimeters, with a 6,6-inch screen. This makes it a more manageable option than the Ultra.
In terms of photography, the Pro would feature a triple-camera system with a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom . Interestingly, Samsung would have included the 3x telephoto lens in the Pro, while the Ultra would only have the 5x zoom. The battery would be around 5.200 mAh, also using silicon-carbon technology, which represents a significant improvement over previous generations.
In terms of memory, configurations are expected to include 12 or 16 GB of RAM and storage options of 256, 512 GB, or 1 TB. The processor would be the same as the Ultra's, meaning either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 Extreme or the Exynos 2700, depending on the region. These components would allow the S27 Pro to position itself as a premium alternative without going to the extreme level of the Ultra.

Regarding pricing, leaks suggest the S27 Pro could start at $1.299, while the S27 Ultra would reach $1.399. This represents an increase of around $100 compared to the outgoing generation, likely due to the rising cost of components. The official unveiling is expected to take place the week of February 22, 2027, just before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
With all this information, it's clear that Samsung is preparing a major overhaul for its flagship lineup. The Galaxy S27 Ultra will feature a more cutting-edge design , with a camera bar that's sure to turn heads, while the S27 Pro will offer the best of that aesthetic in a more compact form factor and without the S Pen. The improvements in battery, processor, and cameras are significant, although we'll have to wait for the official announcement to confirm all the details.
