Finally! An update that has been delayed a long time, but that all users of this smartphone, especially those that come free of origin, the subsidized ones, may take a little longer, depending on the company.

Update to Android Lollipop
We received the desired notification about Android 5.0.2 the day March 6th 2015, on a 2013 Moto G with 4.4.4 Android Kitkat bought spirit and in Spain, so surely the update will arrive a little later in other countries or on devices linked to some company.
Previous requirements
Before updating, you must make sure that you meet these requirements:
- Have this installed on the device Motorola official app: Motorola Updates. Is park for free and completely required, since it will act as a link to download the file on moto g 1st generation and moto e when they receive the update.

- Have at least 850 or 900 MB free, to download and install the file and perform the subsequent update.
Install the update
As we discussed earlier, going from KitKat to Lollipop is not complicated at all. We simply have to go to: settings > about phone > system updates
It will check if an update is available, and if so, it will show which version it will update to (5.0.2 Lollipop). We press in agreement and we will see a new message in the notification bar. informs us about the update size, One 365 MB, and how much tiempo It remains approximately to finish downloading the package.
After fully downloading, the usual update screens will appear, with Andy (the Android doll) open and it will reboot. If everything has gone correctly, it's already updated.
What changes does Android 5.0.2 Lollipop bring?
Once updated, we will notice many interface changes, Material desings will already be on our mobile with different icons, new animations when entering and exiting apps or even multitasking, which has received a major facelift and is now presented in the form of a carousel.
The interfaces of some system applications have also changed, such as the dialer, contacts or settings. All of them with an important presence of Material Design.
