Samsung could be preparing to add a new entry-level or low-end mobile phone to its Galaxy M series in the coming weeks.

As usual, the WFA certification didn't reveal much about the device aside from the fact that it would only support b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity on the 2.4GHz band.

While the latest listing didn't reveal anything substantial about the Galaxy M01, reports in recent weeks have suggested that it will be an entry-level mobile phone, largely sold in emerging markets including India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Russia.
According to a report earlier this month from SamMobile, the phone will be offered in three color options including black, blue, and red.
According to a Geekbench listing from earlier this year, the Galaxy M01 (model number SM-M015G) will ship with a Qualcomm processor clocked at 2.02GHz. Apparently, it will also have 3 GB of RAM and will run Android 10 of fabric. The report in Sammobile suggests that it will come with just 32GB of internal storage, but it will have a microSD card slot.
It's worth noting that while the GeekBench listing did not reveal the identity of the processor, a GizChina last week's report suggested that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 439 SoC.
Please note that there is still no way to verify any of the rumors and reports about the Samsung Galaxu M01, so take them with a pinch of salt.
