Ahead of its release on November 19, the Google Stadia app is now available for download on the Google Play Store in the US.
It is currently available in Spain, which is surprising, given that the the service itself will not be released in the country until November 19.
Eventually, Stadia will also be available on iPhones, but it's not immediately clear if the iOS version of the app is still available on the App Store.
Google Stadia for Android mobiles is already Spain, France, among others
9to5Google tinkered with the app, revealing some of its user interface elements. Including a splash screen that features a "Destiny 2" image, as seen in the screenshot below.
Sadly though, you'll need an invite code to join the service, and without one, this is all you'll be able to explore for now.
According to Google:
"To play Stadia, you'll also need a code provided with a purchase, such as the Stadia Founder's Edition or Stadia Premiere Edition".
In case you didn't already know, the Stadia Founders Edition will launch on November 19.
According to the Play Store listing page, the service will support a number of different devices at launch, including the Pixel Slate, Acer Chromebook Tab 10, HP Chromebook X2, Pixel 2, Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 4.
Sadly, first-gen Pixel owners aren't out of much luck.
