In this guide for android let's see how to make a reset to factory mode, also called “hard reset” when HTC One S. The "Hard reset» or restore data to factory mode, we will do it when we have no other solution to the problem we have, an error with applications installed or uninstalled incorrectly, We do not remember the unlock pattern or password, the mobile is blocked and does not respond, etc. A hard reset will erase all data, so before doing it, we will make a backup of all our data, documents, contacts, messages, files, tones, etc.
As we say, when doing the hard reset, all data is lost.
If you let us into the menus:
- We open the Notifications panel and then click on the cogwheel, settings.
- Tap Memory > Reset. factory data.
- Click on Restart phone, and then click on Delete everything, with this the phone will start to reset. HTC One S
If it does not let us enter the menus, we will do the reset using the buttons:
- Press the VOLUME DOWN button for a few seconds and then press and hold the POWER button.
- We wait until the three Android images appear on the screen and then we release the POWER and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
- To select FACTORY RESET, press VOLUME DOWN and then the POWER button to confirm.
