reset samsung galaxy tab

In this guide for android let's see how to make a reset to factory mode, also called “hard reset” when Samsung Galaxy Tab. The "Hard reset» or factory data reset, we will do it when we have no other solution to the problem we have.

Some error with badly installed or uninstalled applications, We do not remember the unlock pattern or password, the tablet freezes and does not respond, etc.

Un hard reset will erase all data, so before doing it, we will make a backup of all our data, documents, contacts, messages, files, tones, etc.

To make the hard resetBeware, all data is lost.

If you let us into the menus:

On the home screen, open the application list and select Settings > Privacy > Factory data reset >
Reset device > Erase everything
.

If it does not let us enter the menus, we will do the reset using the buttons:

  • We turn off the Samsung galaxy Tab
  • Once off, press and hold the volume up button and the power button, until the logo appears.
  • With the volume buttons we move and select «wipe data / factory reset, restore factory data».

Hello, try doing a hard reset by pressing Start, power and volume down at the same time. Keep pressing until you see the recovery menu. If it continues with the logo, you will have to flash a ROM with the Odin tool: https://www.todoandroid.es/que-es-samsung-odin-que-podemos-hacer/
You have official ROMs on the Sammobile website.

I reset the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT_P5113 tablet and when it starts up it asks me to connect to the network, then date, time and location, and when I give next it tells me that the Samsung account has stopped and won't let me continue, what can I do? In a forum he told me to clear the cache and I did this. Would it be for this? How to make it not ask for the samsung account and ignore it while booting without problems?
Thank you Jairo Isaza from Bogota Colombia. I would appreciate a response to my email

    I can't reset
    Good,
I try to reset my tablet by pressing the power button and the volume up button but before anything appears on the screen, a page appears with a message about the OS and gives me the options to accept with which the device turns on and that's it , or it gives me the option to cancel and it goes to a screen where the android symbol appears and it puts oden mode, it doesn't allow me to do anything and it stays that way until I decide to turn off the device again. Can someone tell me how to fix this and be able to reset my tablet?
    Thank you, greetings.

What to do when I have this problem, I turn it on and it doesn't happen from here.
    BROTHERHOOD ERROR.
Encryption could not be completed because it was interrupted. Do a factory data reset (which will delete all your data) before using it. After resetting, try to encrypt the device again.

I read little on a tab that says "reset the device". But he does nothing.

    Unlock tablet
Hi, thanks for the trick. My daughter lost her tablet, she appeared 2 months later and obviously she did not remember the pattern to unlock and the steps that worked on that Samsun Tab II Tablet were:
We turn off the Samsung galaxy Tab
    1.- Turn off Tablet
2.- Once turned off, press and hold down the volume DOWN button and the power button, until the logo appears.
With the volume buttons we move and select «wipe data / factory reset, restore factory data».
Pressing the power button confirms the selection and will reset the tablet.
It is important that it is connected to the electrical network, since it takes a while to restore.

You can reinstall it with the odin tool and a rom from the sammobile website, you can consult it in an article on our website.

It may have lost system data, try to reset it again and if not, you will have to apply a rom with the odin tool. We have an article that explains it.
