In early 2019, Huawei introduced its latest P-series flagship which consists of two models – Huawei P30 and P30 Pro which offers the best camera specs, design, best display, performance and much more to mean.
In terms of achievements, the Huawei P30 series created many benchmarks in the smartphone industry, and it's time to move on to the following P series smartphones: Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro.
After the P30 series and inheriting from the Mate 30 series, Huawei P40 smartphones are likely to deliver Huawei's new smartphone.
However, there are a few months left to get an official statement on the P40 series, but the rumor and leak session has already started and some early speculation is yet to be confirmed.

Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro: everything you need to know
Display:
According to the information, Huawei P40 Pro is expected to pack Horizon Mate 30 Pro display with curved edges. As usual, the P40 will feature a flat OLED screen.
Camera:
On the camera side, the P40 series is likely to adopt the new camera technology from the Mate 30 Pro, including the new SuperSensing, CineCamera, and co-developed technologies with Leica. The Huawei P40 Pro is rumored to include 5 rear cameras and 2 cameras on the front.
Performance and memory:
Huawei's latest flagship processor - Kirin 990 and Kirin 990 5G will be used for the 4G and 5G variants, respectively.
Just like its predecessor, Huawei P40 will likely start with a 6/128GB variant, both P40 and P40 Pro will get an 8GB RAM variant. Looking at the trend, Huawei might introduce a high-spec version with 12GB of RAM, but we have to wait for that to be confirmed.
Battery:
The battery of the P40 Pro must be upgraded to 4500 mAh and 4200 mAh in the P40 that we can recharge with a charge of 50 W or 55 W. On the other hand, both models are compatible with the new 27 W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. .
Software:
If you still haven't recovered from the rumors of using HarmonyOS or Hongmeng OS in the mobile phone, there are high chances that Huawei will use EMUI 10 based on Android 10. If the company didn't get the license to resume business with Google, then will come pre-installed on Huawei Mobile Services and applications.
Launching:
Currently, Huawei has not made any official announcement about the launch of Huawei P40 series, but if we look at the previous launches, the company will choose March 2020 as the global launch.
