One of the advantages of being root, as we saw in the article published a few days ago, is that we can install some applications that modify in a more advanced way our device, and therefore do not work in a Android smartphone without rooting.
In this article, we are going to see the operation of three root applications, which will help us improve the performance of our Android. Let's go there!
3 root applications to improve the performance of our android
SD-Booster, increase the speed of your SD card
We start the list with SD-Booster, an application that will increase the speed of our SD card, very important if our Android does not have a large internal storage and we always have to use these external memories.
According to the developers themselves, and as we can see in the description of the app on Google Play, with this application we can multiply the speed of our SD card by 40.
This app allows us to increase the value of the microSD cache memory. By default, this value is 128kb, which is rather small. To improve performance, we can modify it until reaching the 1024 or 2048KB. It is not recommended to increase this memory too much, since we will force the card too much and its useful life will be shortened.
To test if it really works, we can install SD Card Tester, an application that does not need root and will calculate the speed of our SD. To know how much we have accelerated the card, it is enough to carry out a speed test before and another one after having used SD-Booster.
Both SD-Booster and SD Card Tester are free and available at Google Play.
Greenify, greater autonomy and fluidity
With the passage of time, we are noticing how our device has lost fluidity. Factory resetting your smartphone will bring its performance back to more or less the same as before, but having all your data wiped is pretty annoying.
Therefore, if you have root permissions on your terminal, it may be interesting to try beforehand with Greenify, an application manager that will improve battery life and fluidity on our Android.
Its operation is automatic, although we can customize the app to fit our preferences. Greenify creates three application lists: those installed, those that are already hibernating and those that can consume resources in a significant way. We can also create another list in which we will include the applications that we never want to hibernate.
Other application managers stop tasks completely, which could lead to data loss and unusual device behavior. Greenify hibernates them, which allows them to be in the background but without using resources or consuming battery.
Grenify has a Material Design-style interface and it also works on non-rooted devices, although with some differences. It is also available on Google Play for free.
SD Maid – System cleaning tool
Some manufacturers and phone companies have a habit of pre-installing a large number of applications on their devices. These apps, in addition to taking up a lot of space and not being useful for the most part, cannot be easily deleted from the smartphone.
With SD Maid we can control all the data that is stored on our Android device. It has an application controller with which we will be able to freeze, restart and eliminate applications, even from the system.
This application is very useful, although we must use it with caution, so as not to delete any application that is too important.
It is free, although it has pro version and it can also work on devices without root, but some functions will not be available, such as the possibility of deleting system apps.
And you, have these applications served you? Leave us your answers and opinions in the comments, at the bottom of this article.
Good date
Good point, thanks.

I want it to control household expenses, and how much the total expense can be.

Hi Adrián, check if this problem started since you installed an app and, if so, try uninstalling it. You can also try disabling and enabling the download manager: Menu-> Settings-> Applications-> All-> Download manager (Turn it off and on). If it still doesn't work, clear the cache with Master Clean,The Cleaner... That should work, hope it helps 😉
