It's official, new android oreo has been featured by Google. But, depending on the brand and model of Android you have, it may arrive in a few weeks, months or years... or you may never see it.
To help you find out, we are going to make a list of the models that they plan to update soon, from the best-known manufacturers and the ones that sell the most Android phones.
Mobile phones that will update to Android 8 Oreo
LG
It is almost certain that the LG G6 will enjoy its update to Android 8 before the end of the year. Its mid-range smartphone, LG Q6 could also be one of the first to receive an update in the coming months.
Nokia
The Finnish company has decided to bet heavily on its return to Android, and for this it could be one of the first to update. It is expected that Nokia 5, 6 and 8 receive Android Oreo in the coming weeks. In fact, the brand already warned that its smartphones would get the updates very shortly after its launch, since it is known that they do not use a user layer in their android models, they are pure android, which speeds up updates.
Samsung
One of the big drawbacks of this brand is that the updates usually take a long time to reach the different terminals. Before the end of the year, in principle, only the update of the Galaxy S8 and Note 8 would be planned. To enjoy Oreo on your mid-range Samsung mobile, you will have to wait until the beginning of 2018 (mid for sure).
OnePlus
This brand does not usually appear in the official lists of Google updates, but it usually behaves quite well with users in this regard. Thus, it is expected that before the end of the year its flagship mobile, the OnePlus 5, will have been updated, although it could also arrive very soon to the OnePlus 3 and 3T.
Sony
Although it is not exactly the brand that sells the most mobiles in our country, it usually launches quite effective and fast updates. Among the first models that are scheduled to land on Android Oreo, are the XZ Premium, the X Compact, the X1A and some more such as the Xperia X or X Performance.
Huawei
The Huawei P10 and Mate 9 will almost certainly be updated in the coming weeks. We will have to wait a little longer for the updates of the P10 Lite or the P8 Lite 2017, although it is very likely that they will end up arriving before the end of the year.
Is your mobile among those that will receive Android 8 Oreo in the coming weeks? Curious to start using the new version? At the bottom of the page you will find the comments section, where you can tell us your opinion.
