If you have a song in Mp3 format and you want to add it as ringtone on your mobile phone Samsung Galaxy S, mini, Ace, 3 or on any mobile with the operating system 2.3 Android Gingerbread, follow these steps.
In the applications menu, go to Music and play your favorite song, once you're listening to it, press the Menu button and several options will appear, press "set as ringtone" and that's it, you'll have your favorite song as ringtone. call.
Another way is to copy the mp3 file to the RINGTONES folder that you must have in the Samsung Galaxy, if that folder does not exist you can create it in the root of the mobile and copy the mp3 file there. Excellent, I did this using just my galaxy cell phone and without needing a pc by going to My files, option to create a new folder, naming it RINGTONES OR NOTIFICATIONS and copy an mp3 song that I have on my cell phone and pasting it to any of these folders and then going to sound settings. I have created a folder called RINGTONES and in it I have put a voice file (.amr file) recorded for my daughter and the phone has already detected it and added it to the list of possible ringtones. Thanks it worked for me. The important thing is to define as the tone the song you want while it is playing.
