On Instagram, sometimes you want to share a profile with your friends or followers, whether it's your own profile or someone else's. There are several ways to do it. We explain each of them and how you can use them from now on to share an Instagram profile.
Share a profile via messages
The most direct way to share your Instagram profile with another person is through messages. Do this by opening the Instagram app and then going to your profile by tapping your photo icon in the bottom right corner.
Click on the menu with three horizontal lines in the upper right corner and an extensive menu will appear in which you must look for the option «Invite friends«.
Among the options that will appear in this section, choose the one you think is appropriate so that a link is generated that you can copy and paste into any message.
Send the link via direct messages, SMS, email, WhatsApp or any other messaging platform you prefer.
Through other social networks
Maybe you didn't know it, but Instagram allows you to share your profile on other social networks such as Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp:
Access your Instagram profile and tap the icon with the three horizontal lines.
Choose the option of «Follow and invite friends", then "Invite friends through..." and then choose from among the social networks that you have the social network in which you want to share your profile and Follow the instructions to complete the process.
Use a QR code
Apart from all these ways to share your profile on Instagram, there is also the possibility of generate a QR code that other users can scan to directly access your profile:
Open your Instagram profile and tap the Share Profile button and the option to share your QR code.
Even Instagram allows you to customize the QR code design to your liking.
Save or share the QR code directly from the app.
Share someone else's profile
Through direct messages. To share another Instagram user's profile using direct messages, first find the profile of the person you want to share. Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the profile and choose from all the options «Share this profile«. Select the contact or contacts you want to send the profile to and tap “Send.”
Copying profile link. Another option is to copy the profile link and share it outside of Instagram. To do this, go to the profile of the person you want to share. Tap the three dots in the top right corner and choose «Copy profile URL» and then paste the link where you want to share it, such as in a message, email, or post on another social network.
