Google has proposed that the native Android messaging application become an increasingly complete tool.

Just above the text box in which we write the SMS, we can see a series of bubbles in which some of the possible answers that we may want to give to our interlocutors will appear. We will only have to choose one of them and we will have the message written and ready to be sent.
However, it is possible that even though you are a regular user of Android messages, this feature has not reached you yet. And it is that it is a novelty that is in the testing phase, so in principle only some users can enjoy it. But it is expected that over the next few weeks it will spread little by little, until it ends up reaching the entire android universe.
Improvements to compete with WhatsApp
Apart from smart replies, Google has also added some other improvements to its messaging app lately. For example, it is now also possible to send messages, with attached files.
Its user interface has also changed slightly, so that its use is much easier for us. The idea is that even though SMS messaging is currently deprecated, your app can get back to it. compete with whatsapp. A task without a doubt complicated, but that Google does not consider impossible.
And it is that Google's intentions are that its messaging application is much more than a tool to send SMS and MMS. What Android developers want is that, in the near future, it won't be necessary to have WhatsApp, Telegram or anything like that, because in the messaging tool itself, we have everything we need.
