After what seems like an eternity of waiting, WhatsApp has finally started rolling out the much-requested dark mode for beta users of its Android app.
The change comes with the latest version of WhatsApp beta (2.20.13).
As reported by WABetaInfo, the beta version of WhatsApp on Android has made the new dark mode feature available in the app's settings.

If you want to check if you have the feature enabled in your Whatsapp app, we are going to:

- Cat and look for a new “Theme” option.
- In the new Theme option, WhatsApp allows users to choose between light and dark theme as expected.
- And there is also an option to make the app honor the battery saver settings so that the app automatically goes to dark mode when battery saver is activated on your phone
The new dark mode in Whatsapp Beta works throughout the app, including the entire Settings page, and in internal chats (including dark bubbles that were previously leaked as well).
Where to get Whatsapp beta for night mode?
To get the new feature, you will need to update to the latest beta version of WhatsApp on your phone. However, if you're not a beta tester, you should know that beta access for WhatsApp is currently full, so you won't be able to get the app from the Play Store.
You can always head over to APKMirror (Download) and get the latest WhatsApp beta APK to install it on your phone.
BetaInfo it also says that if you can't find the new feature despite being on the latest beta version, uninstalling and reinstalling the app might help. However, please note that you should back up your data before doing this.
And we must also take into account that if the beta is full of users, uninstalling the beta that we have, may mean that we cannot enter again to be a beta tester of the WhatsApp application.
