The first bike with Android arrives

Today we can find the Android operating system in watches, phones, tablets, computers and even cars, but you will be surprised that you can also find it in a bicycle.

Although it was presented a few months ago, it is now that we are learning more detailed information about it «Android mobile» with two wheels, whose design differs quite a bit from the usual one. we are going to tell you all the details in this article.

The first bike with Android arrives. This will be the first bicycle with Android

Features of LeEci Le Syvrac

What is impressive about this bike is that it has a 4-inch Android smartphone on the handlebars, which allows us to connect to 4G networks.

In addition, to be able to use the bike, we will have to turn on this device using its fingerprint sensor.

Its design is similar to that of a mountain bike, although due to its wheels and its lack of cushioning, the reality is that it is more useful as a touring bike.

The embedded mobile uses the operating system Android (here it is called BikeOS) and has 4GB of RAM, plus a Quad-Core processor.

The Android bike also includes a few built-in speakers, plus a camera, with which we can take photos and videos of the road (although we can remove the camera from the bike; something we can't do with the phone).

Turn signals and laser lines on the sides

In addition to the front and rear lights of all the bikes, this one also has turn signals and laser lines on the sides, to make it much more visible.

On the other hand, its creators have added several sensors (GPS, accelerometers...), to measure the parameters of the bicycle and help us keep a detailed record of the different indicators of the ride and we can also find some heart rate sensors placed on the handlebars.

Other strong points of this bicycle are an anti-theft system that allows us to lock the wheels whenever we need to and a communication system between bikes that are nearby, something like a walkie talkie, ideal for group outings.

Price and Availability

Le Syvrac by LeEco is now available in China and its price ranges between 700 and 5.000 euros, if we opt for the model with a carbon fiber frame.

In the United States it could also be available from the end of 2016.
