The dimensions of the new Galaxy S7 are 142.4 mm high , 69.6 mm wide , 7.9 mm thick and a weight of only 152 grams.
In the new Galaxy S7, Samsung incorporates the same Super AMOLED screen technology, as well as the same 5,1-inch diagonal. The resolution is the same as the Galaxy S6 , 2560 x 1440 pixels, and the pixel density of the new Galaxy S7 is 577 ppi. Therefore, we find no innovation in terms of screen size, diagonal, or resolution compared to what we already had with the S6.
In terms of technical specifications, the improvements come from the processor, the ability to use a microSD card up to 200GB, and IP68 water resistance. In this sense, we could call this Android phone the Galaxy S6 sdW ; it's like an S6 with a microSD card slot, water resistance, and 1GB more RAM.

Availability and price
It's expected to be available in stores worldwide on March 11th, although pre-orders are already open. This means you can reserve it now on the Samsung website and receive it three days before it goes on sale in stores. Pre-orders will also include a free Gear VR virtual reality headset.
Note that this promotion with a free Gear VR headset will be available on the Samsung website for reservations and purchases made until March 10, 2016.
Another of the sales channels is going to be reserving one of the 2 models, through banks such as La Caixa (Spain) where you can take advantage of a promotion, such as also including the virtual reality viewer.
The price of the Galaxy S7 is now official, and the base model with 32GB of internal storage will cost €719 . It will be available in blue, white, gold, and silver. The Galaxy S7 Edge, with 32GB of storage, will cost €819.
